Age, is more than just a number.

True! it’s the most important factor to think about when it comes to your fertility.

Sunday ho ya Monday, all that matters is ande.

We are born with all the eggs we’re ever going to have – about 20 Lakh. By the time we reach our first period, we’re already down to 3-4 lakh eggs. Grr, so unfair, we know. From there – whether we actually bleed or not – we lose up to 1,000 eggs every month.

Eggceptional quality is just as important as quantity.

With every flip in the calendar, the quantity of our eggs declines, but the quality deteriorates too. Poor egg quality doesn’t just make conception difficult, it also increases your risk of miscarriage or having a child with genetic abnormalities.

Knowing gives you power.

Your fertility drastically declines post 30. But, this isn’t just a switch that turns off one day. As we age, our eggs age with us. Also, 2 in 20 women experience premature low ovarian reserve under the age of 35.

How is it done?

Your fertility assessment begins with an in-clinic consultation with our fertility specialist

Step 1

A test for AMH or Anti-Mullerian hormone, which is produced in your ovaries

Hormones involved in the ovulation process are measured to provide a better sense of your current ovarian reserve. The Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH), is released by your eggs as they grow. It is one of the most reliable measures of your ovarian reserve. Your levels of AMH levels can be measured through a simple blood test.

Step 2

A vaginal ultrasound, to count the number of egg cells in your ovaries

The resting follicle is a small. Fluid filled sac that contains an immature egg. These are released every cycle during menstruation. The number of follicles detected can indicate the number of eggs available in the given month. This is done on the 2nd, 3rd or 5th day of your period.

Step 3

Family history review and a medical exam

Your age, lifestyle choices, medical history and genetic background, all contribute to your fertility. All of these will be taken into account by our fertility specialists while curating your personalized plan.

Step 4

A plan curated as per your results, bodily needs and goals

Our fertility specialists will discuss your results and family planning goals to come up with a plan that works best for you.

Why should you get your assessment?

You should always be in a position where you have options on your hand instead of irreversible consequences.
